In this fun exploration of translating plaster into three dimensional form you will learn plaster sculpture construction and armature as well as carving and shaping sculptural forms. 

Stephanie will also lead you through learning to work with plaster and plaster-like products as well as recipes for creating textural effects and hardness in the plaster. 

Various finishing and textural effects using paint, carving, sanding, incorporating paper ephemera and found objects will be explored in depth.

You need to expect to get a bit messy but will enjoy being able to finish a sculpture in this one day class even with no prior sculpting experience. 

A take-home booklet of hints, tips and general information for working with plaster at home will help them in future working with plaster.'
