| What day and time do we arrive? |
If you are staying on site please book in between 3pm and 5pm on Wednesday 17th March 2010.
If you are not staying on site, please arrive no later than 8.30am on the day of you first class to register and be in class ready to start on time.
Classes start at 9am on Thursday morning and conclude at 4.30 pm on Sunday afternoon.

| What is the minimum booking? |
We have four days of classes on offer.
Single classes are available, there is no requisite to book for all four days. |
| What type of accom is offered? |
Accomodation is twin share, king singles or single room with queen beds. All rooms have ensuites plus beautiful views from each window.
Wireless broadband is available in your room for a small extra charge. You may organise this with the conference center staff when you arrive |
| I'm flying in.. how do I get to the venue? |
The venue is about 50 mins by cab from the airport .. we will have a database on the yahoo group for people to list their flight details and share a cab. |
| Do we need to take our own linen & towels
? |
No, all towels and linen are supplied. |
| I'm driving across - will my car be secure for the duration of the retreat? |
There is a large car park just outside the venue |
| Are meals available
and if so what are they? |
Yes, if staying 'in house' your accom fee covers everything including the room, linen, breakfast and dinner.
For all day students, your lunch, plus morning and afternoon tea is included in your class fee. |
| Are tea & coffee facilities avail in our rooms? |
No. You have access to 24/7 tea and coffee in the dining rooms and are welcome to take drinks back to your room |
| Is special dietary requirements catered for? |
Yes, special meals will be provided for you in the case of health reasons such as gluten free, diary free, diabetic, vegetarian etc., |
| Is there workspace available in rooms? |
Each room is also furnished with a small desk and chair |
| Is there heating and cooling in the rooms? |
Yes |
| Will there be kits supplies or will they cost extra? |
Some kits will be provided - depending on the class these are included in the class fee or a small extra charge.
Each delegate will also receive a supply list of what to bring. In some cases a kit is essential - in others you can purchase your supplies from us or your favourite store |
| Will we get a supply list or is it all in the kit? |
There will still be supplies you need to bring.
A list will of all supplies can be found under each class description on the classes pages. |
| Can we do more than one class with each tutor? |
Yes. |
| What time do the classes start and finish? |
9am start and 4.30 finish |
| Will there be 'free' time |
After 4.30pm each day your time is your own, you can continue working on your art, take a dip in the pool, work out in the gym, enjoy one of the many beautiful bushwalks...... |
| Is smoking permitted? |
Outside on the open air terraceyes, not in the buildings |
| Is alcohol permitted or sold? |
The Country Place has a liquor license and alcohol will be available from midday to midnight. As they do not have a BYO license they do not allow alchol to be brought onto the premises |
| What is the weather like in Melbourne then? |
March is a transitional month between summer and autumn and hot weather can be experienced in the first fortnight. Many days are mild and sunny although some days are cool and cloudy.
Nights are noticeably cooler than in the preceding month. Towards the end of March, it is quite common for the overnight temperature to fall below 10ÂșC on one or two occasions. The month is fairly dry however prolonged heavy rain, falls occasionally.
The average temperature is 24 to 14 with around 2 inches of rain for the month |
| Should I bring a lamp with me? |
If you have a small portable lamp its always helpful if you wish to work of an evening. The class rooms are well lit however and it wont be necessary during the day |
